IMS- Micro/Nano Fabrication Facility
8. Processing Safety

The Processing Safety section contains important information about the rules and regulations users should follow while working in the cleanroom, and what they should do in case of an emergency. Safety in the cleanroom requires users to always be vigilant. Users should practice safe laboratory procedures and be aware of the other users around them to ensure that they are being safe as well. Creating a safe work space is the job of everyone who works in the cleanroom. Users should ask staff if they are unsure or confused about something in the lab. Users are required to view the safety lecture during cleanroom orientation before using the IEN cleanrooms.
